November Forum a success... plans afoot for a group project

With about 40 people joining us at the Blue Town Heritage Centre on Saturday 14th November, we are pleased to say that the second Swale Heritage Forum was a success.

Full details about the feedback received from participants will be shared in the future.

There was a discussion at the end of the presentations to identify whether there is an appetite to develop a joint project to improve the access to our share heritage.  We are pleased to say that from this discussion, we have a core group of around 7 people who have committed to the initiative and will be meeting to outline plans further.  A meeting has also been booked in with Joe Minden from the Heritage Lottery Fund.  Of the rest of the participants who completed a feedback form, all were keen to be a supporter of the project, or would like to commit once more details are know.  This is extremely encouraging.

Details of the meeting of the Project Working Group and the meeting with Joe Minden, will be shared on this blog.
